As I jokingly told my friend, this is basically what "white people" imagine Asian food tastes like. If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine, this isn't the place. That said, I do give them credit for making most of their reinvented dishes taste really good, drawing inspiration from various Asian cuisines. If you're Asian and feeling adventurous, or if you want a "safe" spot to explore Asian-inspired dishes without worrying about strong spices, unusual ingredients, or too much heat, this place is a fun option. Plus, the interior design is super cute (though definitely not Asian ). The reason I'm deducting a point is that, as an Asian person, I find many of the dishes lean too much on the sweeter side, catering to the Western palate. I just wish some of the dishes had a more of a savory taste rather than sweet, for example the spicy garlic noodles.

Service was really quick for the amount of food ordered. Portions are a bit smaller than what I am used to for what we paid but they were still enough to feed my group of three and have everyone get more than one scoops/bites. We got the mushroom vermicelli which had a really nice buttery flavor due to the miso-butter used. The mushrooms were very flavorful as well. We also got the salt and black pepper shrimp which came with a good chipotle aioli-esque sauce. We got the Mongolian beef which was very flavorful and savory; this came with a bowl of rice. The last dish we got were szechuan green beans which had a great sauce that packed a little bit of kick and was also very umami. All the dishes we got were packed with flavor. Heavy use of garlic was appreciated (though you still might get some umami aftertaste 2 hours after the meal haha). Many of our dishes also had jalapeño peppers which made the food very flavorful as well. The ambiance was nice with dim warm lighting when we went for dinner.

Went here for a boozy brunch with some friends on the weekend, having heard it was a party inside. Brunch is all you can eat, and basically consists of them serving the table all of the brunch menu dishes one by one (which also gives you time to become full quicker), then asking you which dishes you would like to reorder. Overall, I would give the experience 5/5, as it was truly a party inside, with the waiter pouring shots from a bottle inside people's mouths, and people up and dancing on chairs for each new banger they blasted in the restaurant. The food however, was a 4/5 at best, and pretty costly for what it was (total came out to be about 75 per person), and I didn't love that we couldn't just order what we wanted from the get go. TLDR- worth it for a special occasion if you're looking for a super fun brunch vibe, but otherwise you can find better bang for your buck brunch spots.

Our first stop while visiting SF. Parking was a little rough so maybe walk or get dropped off. I'm a big fan of wontons so we had to go for the spicy wontons. I like that they came in chili oil - they were soft and warm and juicy. They hit the spot *insert chefs kiss emoji here We also got the chubby chicken - which looks pretty simple but was delicious. We devoured both plates pretty quick. We went on a Wednesday night - there was plenty of open seating but the take out orders looked insane. They are super organized because they got our plates out quickly while also fulfilling the online orders. Overall - Great spot!

I ordered the bottomless brunch. First of all, it is LOUD in here. It's a clubby environment, but under the guise of a brunch. I don't think I'll be back, but I enjoyed the experience for the one time. At some point the servers started pouring vodka shots into our mouths. You don't order any dish yourself, rather you are brought one of each of the 8 dishes on the menu, while the drinks are bottomless, between choices of pitches of sangria, bottles of champagne, and cans of Sapporo. Sausage and egg scramble: 7/10, this is nothing special but the sausage is good and the eggs are fluffy and moist Firecracker chicken: 6/10, this is literally orange chicken but a bit soggy Cucumbers: 9/10, basic but delicious. These could only be made better with nicer cuts or plating Spicy wontons: 5/10, these are nothing to write home about - neither the filling or sauce are very flavorful. The best part is the fried onion garnish Garlic noodles: 6/10, noodles are overdone but taste great, with a ton of garlic flavor Green beans: 7/10, classic fried green bean - I wish they were crunchier a little less sweet Cauliflower: 8/10, the cauliflower itself is decent but the sauce really carries Mimosas: 10/10, what you see is what you get

Finding parking wasn't the easiest, but it was a bit more manageable since the restaurant is located away from the busiest streets. We made our reservation through Yelp and needed to change the time the day before. The restaurant responded to our email in less than 24 hours and happily accommodated our request. This might have been easier because it was during OSL weekend. The ambience was super chic and not crowded at 7 PM, but the noise level definitely increased after 8 PM. The crowd was a lively mix of girls' night outs, date nights, and family gatherings. Service was prompt, with our appetizers arriving in good time before the main courses. There were at least three staff members regularly checking in, refilling water, and helping pack up our leftovers. The food was excellent, with options perfect for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. We tried the delectable sashimi, super tasty garlic noodles, and green beans that were perfectly seasoned. The drink selection was simple, just glasses of wine, but it was an overall lovely dinner.

Came here on a Saturday with a group of 5 for brunch. We did not have a reservation and had to wait until 2 PM before getting a table. This place does a bottomless brunch. They have unlimited mimosas and also sangria and sapporo as alternative drink options. You can pay more for sake as an option. There is already champagne and orange juice on the table when you sit down. Food-wise, they have 8 dishes that they bring out to you family-style. You can ask for more dishes. You cannot take anything to-go if you don't finish. You can only do the bottomless brunch, which is $55 per person. They do not have an option to order a la carte. In terms of food, the szechuan green beans were hands down the best dish. So flavorful and delicious. Not spicy. The cucumbers and spicy wontons were also good (the wontons are spicy if you eat the toppings with it). The garlic noodles were a bit salty but good. The shrimp with the aioli was also good. Eggs with sausage were a bit plain; it was mainly the sausage that was providing flavor. The cauliflower was my least favorite. There is a 90 minute time limit. Ambiance-wise, they play the music pretty loudly so it may be hard to hear each other. It seems like a fun place for a birthday brunch. Service was alright. They checked on us a couple times but I wouldn't say that they were super attentive. Overall, I think this is a fun place for bottomless brunch but price-wise, it is steep. The food is better than most other bottomless mimosas places (those green beans were chef's kiss!!).
